This album is an absaloute must for any Suikoden fan who is very fond of the musical score. To be honest, I wasn't too keen on it when I first heard it as I thought that it had altered the orignal songs a little too much but the album really does grow on you. Don't get me wrong, alot of people may be instantly charmed by its spell but for me - it took a little time. I found the nice relaxing melodies to be perfect but the actual ''Celtic-ness'' of the album to be a little too noisy. Alas, fate would have it that not long after giving up on this album, I actualy grew quite fond of Celtic music, especially that of traditional Scottish folk music. When I returned to this album sometime later I fell in love with it. It really is a piece of genius musical composition. There are some nice altered versions of the original score and some increasingly better versions. This album makes a nice smooth transition between bieng upbeat and melancholy. It fills you full of emotoin and hope. My particular favourite track on this talbum has to be Bygone Days. If I had enough money, I would recruit the composers and pay them to do a grand tour of Scotland playing these glorius songs but...well..I barely have enough money to buy the CD. If you are a fan of Suikoden and/or Celtic music, you will love this album :)
